Tucker's Nursery

As many of you know, we currently live on campus at Samford University for David's job. We are so thankful for the position David has here at Samford. It is a great job for David while he is completing his degree in education. We have a one-bedroom apartment so Tucker will be sharing a room with us while we are here. Here is Tucker's side of the room! Nana and Daddy Ron (David's grandparents) gave us David's crib from when he was a baby. (Kyle, David's brother, also used this crib.) They also gave us the cutest little baby chest that my Dad worked so hard to make new again. My parents gave us the rocking chair that my mom used to rock my brother and me. I just think these are treasures!!! My co-worker, Katie, gave us the changing table and what a blessing it is that it matches the crib so well! David has done such an amazing job with getting Tucker's furniture ready! He is a very good painter!!! It is so fun to look at the room and think that our sweet little boy will soon be here!
My dad put so much love into this chest. David's mom and sisters used this chest. I just love it!
Here is the rocking chair from my parents. I can't wait to hold Tucker in it!
David figured out how to put the crib together!!! I was so impressed that he did this!!!
Here is his crib... I cannot wait to see him sleeping in the crib. How sweet is it that Dave slept in this crib and now our son will be... so soon!!!

  2. Stephanie, how precious is Tucker's nursery! I would have never known by the pictures that it was David's and your room. You have made it such a special area for Tucker! I can't wait to see it (and you) on Monday! Love, Meghan Allen

  4. Steph, I love it. It's so cute, and I love the sentiment behind each item! You are gonna be the sweetest mama. Daniel Isaac was in our room until he was 9 months, and we were still freaking out to move him out. : ) ND will probably be with us a year or two. : )
