So many Christmas Blessings

I am so sorry I have been so behind at posting!!! Our life has been a little crazy but full of so many blessings...

This year was a little different. If anyone has ever talked to me about Christmas traditions they would know I am the biggest fan of traditions!!! I just love traditions and I know my kids are going to say, "momma please no more!!!" This year though there were no traditions with our family. This Christmas we were so blessed with closing on a HOUSE on December 10th that was in need of what I like to call a some TLC. So our traditions were put aside as we have been working and cleaning our new home. David has been working so hard and I am so proud of him. We are so blessed with such sweet family and friends who have helped us. David's mom, dad, and brother came to help us move which was wonderful! Matt, one of David's co-workers from Samford and a dear friend, came at just the nick of time to help us move the washing machine up our flight of stairs to the laundry room. I have to say he was such a blessing as everyone was tired and we needed Matt's encouragement and guidance to get that machine up those stairs. So with that TLC I was talking about includes changing the flooring to our new home. This is a task that we thought wasn't going to be that challenging but oh has it been. David and his dad started working on the floors and we are so thankful that Adam, my sweet friend's husband, came to help. These guys worked so hard and the floor is looking really good... if only it was finished! :) It will be soon and I can't wait for our house to look and feel like our home. Once the boxes are gone through and the paint cans are put away I will be sure to post some pictures.

So if buying a new home wasn't enough for sweet Christmas presents we had another sweet surprise... I'm pregnant!!!! I have been feeling terrible and sooooo tired. David called it the other day as he said, "Steph you're just pregnant." I thought, well I better take a test since we are moving which includes a few things pregnant women should not do and sure enough that test just lite up with the positive symbol. We are so excited and it was so much fun to tell our family over Christmas. Our sweet baby is due August 6th... we can't wait!!! Please pray for us as I am not the best helper now and we have so much to do. I know the Lord is teaching us to rely on Him and for me to be patient... I trust and rest in knowing He has everything in His hands and is guiding our steps and every move.

Merry Christmas and so much love!!!!
