We were driving today and I couldn't help but notice how AMAZING the sky was. One of my favorite verses has always been:
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." Psalm 19:1
This is sooo true! I have always loved looking at the sky or a sunset and seeing the GLORY of God. I don't know why but today the sky looked so BIG. It seemed like the clouds just keep going and going and going... it took my breath away! I couldn't help but think that God made the sky in ONE day!!! I was so comforted by this. Praise HIM that He is soooo big!!!
We are still waiting to see what He has in store for our family. Our apartment is covered in boxes... YIKES!!!! Oh how I wish I would never have to move again. It is hard to believe that our days are almost finished at Samford. It is also hard to believe that we do not know what is in store for our family... BUT I am completely comforted in His sovereignty and the greatness of God. He made the sky in ONE day... ONE day... He surely can create a job for David and a place for us to live. My parents are so gracious to let us stay with them until we figure out what He has in store for us... THANK YOU mom and dad!!! Oh how I wish we did not have to move twice. I do wish that we would already know where we are going to live and could move there. Oh how I wish the heat of the summer wasn't here either. BUT over all of this I trust that HIS timing is perfect and HIS plan is best... So I trust Him that moving twice is best and that sweating during our moving is good. (It sure did make the hamburger and milkshake we ate taste yesterday so much better... hey sweating burns calories so no guilt in eating them...right??!!! See blessings already!)
Of course I have to include some pictures of Tucker. Oh what a JOY he is. Daddy thank you so much for watching him yesterday as we boxed up our stuff. (Moving with a nine month old is a challenge in itself... but oh how I love getting to see him while we work... he just knows how to make us smile!)
I love to touch the wheel as mommy pulls me... oh the germs... what a boy!!!
Ok how could this face not make you smile!!!! I love Tucker Scott!!!
