Nine Months Old

I really cannot believe that Tucker Scott is nine months old. To think that we have had him as long as he was being knitted in my belly is so neat!!! How he has already changed and grown in such a short amount of time is also amazing too. The Lord has blessed us beyond measure with this little boy. This face is a typical Tucker face! He is such a wonderful mess!!! Tucker is 120% BOY!!!! I have my hands full and LOVE it. We are constantly on the go keeping him entertained and out of trouble... it is great. I hope you have been enjoying your summer. David has been so busy with work and job searching that we have not had the chance to go on a vacation but I have soooo enjoyed this summer with Tucker.

David and I have both been reading through Proverbs. This verse really stuck out to me:

"Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you." Proverbs 4:25

In less than a month our family is about to be in the process of moving and I found much comfort in this verse. I have NO idea what is in store for our family. I have no idea what steps He is establishing for us. However there is so much comfort in knowing that He is sovereign and He has a great plan for our lives. We are called to trust Him and keep our eyes forward. I have to be honest in saying I am not excited about moving with a 9 month old. I have grown to love our home at Samford (ok I am ready for Tucker to have a room of his sleeps sake!). I love going on walks with Tucker each day and enjoying the beauty of this campus. I do not favor change and thinking that change is right around the corner is a bit hard. It is neat to see how the Lord has been preparing my heart for this move. Our apartment has seemed to shrunk and it has made me realized that we do need a little more room for Tucker and I find this as a blessing. Our time has almost ended here at Samford and I look forward in seeing the next chapter He has for us. Can't wait to share with you what this chapter is!!!
