The Rusch family
As I was driving home I was just thinking of how much I am going to miss this sweet family when they go on the mission field. I was just praying for them and for this time that is about to happen and trying to remove the selfish thoughts of how I wish they would stay in Birmingham so we could spend every birthday with them. The Lord was so sweet to change my heart and remind me that our time here on earth is so short. Our friendship is not something based on where we live but on the Lord and He is eternal. This treasure He has given our family will not be removed when they go where He is establishing them. I was so thankful that the Lord quickly put it on my heart as I was and still am a little sad that they will be leaving. Lord you are SO good and how I thank you for these boys and their family and what they mean to us and to you.
