Day one of cloth diapers has concluded and I have to admit is was not what I imagined! As I laid Tucker down for his nap my mind wondered, "Will I find him with a messed up bed?!? Oh what will I find?!?" To my excitement there were no leaky diapers and the dirty diapers were really not too bad! I will share my thoughts on cloth diapers again after we have time to really see if we love them!

I choose the simplest one:
1 1/2 cup warm water
2 squirts of baby oil
2 squirts of baby wash
That is it! I bought a spray bottle at Walmart and mixed the solution directly in the bottle. When I need a wipe I simply spray the wash cloth and throw it in the diaper pail with the diapers. The website also shares other ways you can store the wipes (ie pouring solution into a warm wipe holder or regular wipes holder). I choose this method due to the fact I will only need to wash the cloths I use and clean only one container since I will be storing and mixing in the spray bottle.
I really hope that I love cloth wipes and diapers! Day one was great and I hope my next report is the same!

I have to say Tucker looks pretty cute in the diapers!!! A BIG hank you Jenny and Hilary for answering my many questions about cloth diapers!!!
So now for my prayer request!!! Tucker has been waking up really early! Since we have been at my parents house he started waking up at 5:30 then 4:30 and now 3:30AM!!! This is really wearing on me!!! I know it will pass and I am praying that day is sooner than later! Please share any wisdom, advice, tips, or prayer to help me through this time! I am not a napper so once I am up with him I am up. I tried taking a nap during his afternoon nap but I just couldn't go to sleep. The Lord is good and He is sustaining me and giving me my strength for each day. I guess this is another way He is teaching me to trust in Him DAILY!!! :)
