I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to get to see my David on the sidelines coaching. It is so wonderful to see the result of something someone dear to you works so hard to achieve. My husband has been given a gift for wanting to pour into the lives of teenagers. God has instilled such a love for teenagers in David's heart. Dave has worked SO hard to obtain his teaching certificate so that he can pour into these teenagers... to see the fruition of this just brings JOY to my heart.
We feel so blessed for the job that our Lord has provided for Dave. David told me the other night after football practice, "Steph these kids are not out here for this but we are shaping them into men." What JOY he has for this task and I can tell you he is doing a great job at the task the HE has given him.
My mom has been calling me a football widow and I really am!!! David is working so hard. He leaves before 7am each morning and doesn't get home until 7pm on Monday through Wednesday and after 10pm on Thursday and Fridays. BUT he isn't complaining and I'm not either... we are so thankful for this job and I am so thankful that David is working so hard for the Lord.

Yay for Dave! We are so happy for your guys and glad that he is where he is! Hopefully, you will get to see him more when football season ends :)
